No matter your role—educator, industry professional, funder, student, or policymaker—there are many important ways to contribute to Engineering for One Planet.
Faculty
Publish and present best practices and challenges for how you are implementing student learning outcomes from the EOP Framework into your courses or leading EOP curricular innovation efforts at your institution. Apply for awards and grants.
Become an EOP Student Ambassador and engage your peers to advocate for curriculum change and career support.
Administrators
Champion inclusion of environmental and social sustainability by supporting faculty change agents and advocating for sustainability in your core engineering curricula. Encourage faculty to participate in EOP-related grant opportunities, events, and communities of practice.
Offer internships, co-ops, mentorships, jobs, and other professional development opportunities for engineering students and graduates which include sustainability considerations. Provide scholarships to under-resourced and under-represented students. Participate in advisory committees at your local university. Advocate for EOP ideals in your workplace. Sponsor and fund curricular change efforts that incorporate the EOP initiative.
Financially support environmental and social sustainability curricular innovation. Network and bring others to the table to support and understand the importance of engineering sustainably and advance funding opportunities.
Collaborate with individuals and organizations across academia, industry, philanthropy, and civil society to drive systemic change toward the vision of EOP. We’re in this together!

No single individual or organization can change engineering education alone. The EOP Network connects a diverse community of people committed to collaborating toward a common purpose
