EOP has new tools available for you on our newly-expanded website! You will find a streamlined and updated EOP Framework, new guides for teaching sustainability using the EOP Framework, an EOP Identity Video, and many other resources to help you weave sustainability into your courses and programs. Engineering Change Lab – USA Summit – virtual, March 14
At ECL-USA’s next virtual summit, provocateurs and participants will explore the topic, Scanning the Horizon of Engineering Education: The Sustainability Imperative. Join Cindy Cooper to learn more about the EOP initiative and what it takes to transform engineering education to imbue sustainability as a core tenet.

VentureWell OPEN – Alexandria, VA, March 21-23
VentureWell’s annual OPEN conference offers content on today’s most pressing issues in innovation and entrepreneurship education. Join Cindy Cooper to learn more about the EOP initiative, the newly revised EOP Framework and new teaching guides, the ASEE Mini-Grant Program, and more.

ASEE Engineering Deans Institute – San Juan, Puerto Rico, April 16-19
ASEE’s annual Engineering Deans Institute (EDI) provides an opportunity for engineering deans to gather and discuss the crucial issues facing the engineering community and fosters dialogue between deans and leaders in industry, research, and government. Cindy Cooper will join a panel to discuss the importance of preparing future engineers with skills in sustainability.

ABET Symposium – Nashville, TN, April 20-21
We are pleased to elevate the EOP initiative as part of three sessions at ABET’s annual Symposium. This is the flagship event for accreditation, assessment, and the global exchanges of best practices and top issues facing STEM education. Join EOP representatives Cindy Anderson, Cindy Cooper, Michael Milligan, and Dustyn Roberts to learn more about the EOP initiative, including a hands-on workshop on how to use the EOP Framework and its companion teaching guides.

American Society for Engineering Education Conference – Baltimore, MD, June 25-28
ASEE’s Annual Conference and Exposition is the only conference dedicated to all disciplines of engineering and engineering technology education. Join EOP Network Members, collaborators, and grantees at various sessions that will highlight the EOP initiative. You’ll learn about the EOP Toolkit and Scaling for Impact Roadmap, and hear from leaders from across academia, accreditation, and industry about the critical importance of sustainability in engineering education.

We’re excited to welcome Victoria Matthew as our new EOP Network Manager! Victoria will coordinate, support, and convene the EOP Network, a group of 70 individuals representing diverse sectors and lived experiences who are committed to ensuring that education equips all engineers with the skills and knowledge to contribute to a healthy world for lifetimes to come. Victoria has extensive experience supporting impact-driven networks and communities of practice and previously coordinated the EOP Pilot Grant Program Community of Practice. We’re thrilled to have Victoria on board!
